Raimund Zieseniss (*1909) -

In 1940,
Raimund Zieseniss was mentioned in an address book for the first time. His profession was technician then. 1954 he was architect and projected the building Haroldstr. 34 in Düsseldorf. Probably he also projected the buildungs Leostr. 66, Wildenbruchstr. 38D and Cimbernstr. 37 in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel. According to address directories he had offices in Düsseldorf and Neuss and moved to Wuppertal in 1970.
Raimund Zieseniss was maried to
Helene Finger (*1914) from 1939 to 1948; the couple was divorced and did not have any children. His death is unknown.

The architect and painter
Wolfgang Zieseniss is a son of the youngest son Horst (1922-2021) of landscape painter
Heinrich Zieseniss. After his first education to and working as architectural draftsman, he moved to Berlin in 1969 to study architecture. Afterwards he returned to Kleve where he worked as an architect in the public sector. On this occasion he made his first work in public space schowing a landscape impression that changes from green-blue sea mood over green earthy plains to yellow hills and forests in stripes.
As a child and adolescent,
W. Zieseniss had watched his grandfather Heinrich paint. He startet drawing and painting himself and improved his skills over the years. Together with his wife
Monika Böhmer he has been leading a painting group since 1912. With his art,
W. Zieseniss preferably expresses his love for light, water and clouds as well as for architectural structures. Mostly he uses acrylic paint on canvas.
